Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of PlateFeed (“Service”), operated by PLATEFEED.IO, an Israeli registered business (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
PlateFeed is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) recipe management platform. Users can create, edit, organise, and manage private recipes through the web portal at no charge. The Service also provides grocery lists and meal planning tools.
In addition, PlateFeed offers AI-powered recipe import via a WhatsApp bot. The bot currently supports the following import methods (paid feature):
- Reel link — send a Facebook or Instagram cooking reel link and receive a structured recipe.
- Recipe text — send raw recipe text and the bot structures it into a formatted recipe.
- Photo — send up to 3 images of a recipe (cookbook page, printout, or screenshot) and receive a structured recipe. Currently in development.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Free and paid tiers
Recipe management is free for all registered users. AI-powered recipe import (reel links, recipe text, and photos) is available on a free tier with a limited monthly quota. Paid subscription plans unlock a higher monthly import quota and additional features. Current pricing is displayed in the app after signing in.
4. Payments and billing
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, who acts as the Merchant of Record. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
- Share your account credentials with others
- Submit content that infringes intellectual property rights of third parties
6. Intellectual property
Original content creators retain all rights to their videos. PlateFeed credits the original creator with each extracted recipe. The software, branding, and platform design are owned by PLATEFEED.IO.
7. AI-generated content
Recipes extracted from reels are generated by AI and may contain errors. You can review and edit any AI-generated recipe after it is created. Nutritional values are AI-estimated and not a substitute for professional dietary advice. Kosher or Halal designations, where shown, are AI inferences and not certified.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that extracted recipes will be error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PLATEFEED.IO shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, or by contacting us at admin@platefeed.io. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data from our systems.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Israel.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
